Letter of Recommendation From Cornell Wright
Windows Endpoint Engineer

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Saidazizkhon (Aziz) Saydaminov for any position pertaining to Information Technology, Game Development, and technical leadership roles he may seek to pursue. As Desktop Support Manager at Columbia College Chicago, I had the pleasure of working with Aziz from 2021 to 2023 in our Information Technology department.

During his tenure with us, Aziz proved himself to be an invaluable asset to both the faculty and his peers. His technical acumen was evident in the way he managed and resolved complex technical issues with ease and efficiency. His ability to communicate complex technical concepts to students and faculty members alike was nothing short of brilliant, ensuring that everyone could benefit from the technology at their disposal.

Aziz’s interpersonal skills were equally impressive. He was affable, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist others. His leadership qualities shone through as he often took the initiative to lead projects and guide his fellow students through challenging technical tasks.

I was so amazed by Aziz’s skills that I asked him to join me at the 2023 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. I hoped he would meet some of the industry experts that I had contacts with and experience what being a game developer was really like. He impressed my professional peers with his demeanor, work samples, and expertise.

His dedication to his work and his ability to lead by example make him an exceptional candidate for any role he chooses to pursue. I have no doubt that Aziz will continue to excel and be a positive force in the tech community.

My Origin Story

Gameplay programmer who loves to create smooth, responsive, and satisfying game experiences. From Uzbekistan, Aziz graduated Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor’s in Programming. Aziz has had the opportunity to learn from some of the industries top professionals in courses such as Simulation and Serious Games, Graphics Application Programming, and Artificial Intelligence. In said courses Aziz has created multiple games for companies such as LiminalVR and KolbeCorp. He has also worked in a game studio environment and delivered projects while leading and managing team members from other disciplines in the gamedev pipline.

Aziz is driven to keep learning and solidifying his programming, and is very adaptable to new technology. This has resulted in him being invited to mentor the students in the Simulation and Serious Games course to guide them in creating a polished VR experience.

Aziz has a passion for creating satisfying and replayable gameplay experiences, and loves building efficient game systems. Having also been in the professional E-Sports scene, he is also aware of what tight and high quality gameplay/design should look and feel like.

Looking into the future of the games industry, Aziz believes that Virtual Reality will be a major driving force of innovation. That is why he has been involved in multiple VR projects, and is currently working on Odyssey, a zero gravity horror escape room set in an abandoned spaceship experienced through VR in Unreal Engine.

Aziz is eager to put his skills and experience programming in C++ and C# to good use and building amazing games within Unreal and Unity.
